This Herkimer Diamond was charged during the 2017 solar eclipse.  On August 21, 2017 we saw a once in a lifetime event for many of us in the United States. A total solar eclipse crossing, from coast to coast - Just Our Country. While we, in southeastern Pa. were only in the path of 77% totality we were not going to miss it. So, from 1-5 pm we hung outside; soaking in the unusual light and sharing our viewing lens' with neighbors. We took some pictures and in general enjoyed the sense of Something Special with millions of other Americans. We also thought it would be interesting to place a tray of our Herkimer Diamonds out to soak up the unusual light and energy. Since Herkimers, in general, are believed to amplify the energy of most metaphysical pursuits, charging them during an 'almost' total ecplise could only be an added bonus, right? The pictures of them in the light of this awesome day show, to us, they enjoyed the event as much as we did.  
As with all of our AA grade Herkimers, this raw crystal is double terminated with 18 facets.  Also fairly large for AA grade and clarity is excellent!
This Herkimer Diamond eclipe crystal would make an excellent choice for any looking to use crystals for metaphysical pursuits.
