Notes: |
A natural Herkimer Diamond specimen. A geometric key imprint sets next to a small double terminated bridge crystal. A bridge crystal is recognized as a smaller crystal which is part in and part out of a larger crystal. The larger crystal formed, or "flowed" around the smaller crystal which was already completly formed.
Bridge crystals are a bit rare and a very nice addition to a collection. A window facet is present as well. Really fun to look at with a loupe, so we're including one! Faces are smooth and dt's are sharp. Clarity is excellent and all facets and lines are clean and smooth on this natural Herkimer Diamond. The photographs depict it well.
