Herkimer, NY is one of the few placed on earth that these water clear, double terminated raw quartz crystals are found. They can be found loose in the dirt; but are most prized when vugs, or pockets of them are found when mining the hard matrix dolomite rock. Herkimers are more rare than true diamonds. This naturally double terminated quartz crystal is eye clean and water clear. It has a rich deep, yet bright, hue. The photographs depict it well.
